Holiday Party for Charity a Great Success

Two new Women-Owned businesses in Monterey, California came together to this weekend to celebrate the holidays while giving back to those in need. Kristin Minnich's Move Studios, a state-of-the-art dance and movement center in beautiful downtown Monterey hosted the event. A mixture of dance, fashion show, runway models sporting the latest trends and craft cocktails distinguished the evening. Grace Lifestyle Boutique owned by Brittani Reid-Bristol, the newest shopping destination in Historic Downtown Monterey, provided the hip threads worn by the beautiful models. Showcasing a diverse assortment of dresses, duds and accouterments, these wares were also on sale at the studio.

Tickets could either be purchased ahead of time on EventBrite or at the door. Guests braved the rain and started to fill the studio right at 6:00pm. While DJ Willi entertained the crowd and set the mood with the latest hits, Pour Girl Bartending kept everyones glass full. Guests enjoyed horderves while exploring the state of the art facility, shopping in Grace's pop-up shop, and mingling among the lounge areas. Just after 7:00pm models dressed in Grace's latest fashions hit the runway which walked between two viewing rooms. After the final looks, the owner Britani Reid-Bristol snapped photos with the models and recapped how the events proceeds would benefit the sponsored organizations. Guests were then invited to another dance room where DJ Willi, who is also a dance instructor at Move Sutdios, gave a Salsa demonstration and a quick lesson to anyone wanting to try!

All proceeds from the Got Party event supported two great organizations. The Food Bank for Monterey County which distributes 5,497,993 meals to people struggling with hunger every year.  It also supported The Alisal Center for the Fine Arts that offers free community instruction in Aztec Dance, Visual Arts, Percussion, Rondlla Guitar and Theater located in Salinas.

Frontier Market Solutions, LLC was proud to support the Got Party charity event at Move Studios. Featuring Grace Lifestyle Boutique, DJ WILLI ENTERTAINMENT and supporting the The Food Bank for Monterey County and Alisal Center for the Fine Arts
