The Yates Fast Rope Gloves are purpose-built for the demanding conditions of military fast rope and rappel operations, where heat, friction, and speed create extreme stress on both equipment and operator. Developed to support Special Patrol Insertion/Extraction (SPIE) and fast rope systems used by military and tactical units, these gloves provide critical protection and control during rapid descent.

An innovative dual palm design adds an extra layer of protection from heat generated during rope operations. The second palm extends across the hand while maintaining articulation, allowing for both safety and control. The index finger remains separated to preserve trigger finger dexterity in operational environments.

Constructed from thick full-grain leather and sewn entirely with heat-resistant Kevlar thread, these gloves are engineered for durability in high-friction applications. A reinforced carabiner hole at the wrist allows operators to clip the gloves directly to their harness for quick access during missions.
