The EDELRID PROTECTOR MAX combines a flexible textile pad with five replaceable aluminum ribs in a repositionable holder. Polyester and polyamide fabric, internal foam and a Hypalon-reinforced back help protect the rope and supporting structure from mechanical wear. The pad and rib holder can be used separately, and the pad can wrap around a rope or connect with additional pads.
