Natural hemp and cotton blend rope
Ravenox natural hemp rope uses a 50/50 blend of hemp and cotton. The hemp fibers are sourced from France and the cotton from the United States. This is a blended natural-fiber rope, not pure hemp rope.
Texture and project uses
Choose this twisted rope for macramé, handfasting cords and decorative projects where a natural texture suits the design. Compare the diameter against your pattern, hardware openings and knot size.
Care and selection
Both hemp and cotton can shrink when washed. Test a small piece before dyeing or washing a finished project. Keep rope dry in storage and inspect it before use. This craft rope is not for climbing or fall protection, and loose fibers should not be swallowed by pets.

Please note that while our three-strand hemp rope is true to diameter on the spools, fibers may expand when the rope is cut to length and shipped. Some ropes may increase almost a whole size in diameter. If your application is dependent on a certain diameter, please consider ordering a smaller size than is needed.
