For superior abrasion resistance and a low stretch, Poly-Dacron is the rope of choice. Stronger than both Manila and Polypropylene, this high tenacity polyester rope will suit your lifting, pulling, towing, securing, and tie-down needs. Use it for mooring lines, fall-protection systems, towing lines, gardening, camping, DIY projects, crafting, and more.
Poly-Dacron rope is superior to nylon rope for outdoor use with better resistance to abrasion, greater strength, and better UV resistance. Poly-Dacron rope won’t rot or mildew and won’t fade or turn yellow in sunlight, thus keeping its bright white color year after year. Poly-Dacron rope also has less elongation than nylon rope keeping your rope tight and lowering chafe resistance.

Poly-Dacron rope is made from a combination of the best yarns available:
- Polyolefin: Quietly at work in thousands of applications around the world this high-tech fiber is durable, color-fast, and chemically resistant, yet economical and environmentally friendly.
- Dacron is a Trademark for Polyester Fiber: Extremely strong and durable, polyester resists water and dries quickly. Polyester retains its strength without warping, wrinkling, or creasing. It is the workhorse in rope making, clothing, tents, high-pressure fire hoses, and parachutes. Polyester has high tensile strength, high resistance to stretching, both wet and dry, and good resistance to degradation by chemical bleaches as well as incredible abrasion-resistance.
WARNINGS: Knots reduce the strength of the rope up to 50%, splicing is preferable. Chemicals will cause it to deteriorate. Do not use this product for overhead lifting, support of human weight or athletic equipment, or other situations where personal safety or valuable property can be endangered.
The working loads shown should never be exceeded. Shock (stress or jerk) conditions can reduce working loads by as much as 33%.
Never stand in line with rope under tension; such rope, particularly nylon rope, may recoil (snapback). Never use this product to secure large flat surfaces or objects. All ropes should be replaced if signs of wear, such as broken fibers are apparent. Misuse can result in serious injury or death.
