The Sparrow Resistant PVC Bluebird house features a wooden roof. To remove the roof squeeze the sides of the house and it easily comes off for nest checks. It mounts on 1/2” conduit pole that is not included in the purchase of the house.

Sparrows look for dark cavities to nest in and this house features a round hole that lets in a lot of light. A post and predator guard are optional add-ons for this classic Bluebird house to protect the Bluebirds from ground predators.

Materials: This house has a western red cedar roof. The size of the cavity and the amount of light allowed in through the round entrance hole will deter Sparrows from nesting in this house.

Dimensions: This Bluebird house mounts on a 1/2" hollow ground pole. The house itself is 8" long by 4.5 inches wide. The roof is 9" x 1" x 1" and the entrance hole is 1.5 inches in diameter. 

Extra: To protect nesting Bluebirds add a predator pole guard to keep snakes and other ground predators away from the nest.
